Running effective board meetings is important for powerful and economical governance of any kind of organization. The goal is usually to bring the right people together to talk about issues that require action and decisions from your board.

Key to a successful getting together with is an agenda that makes it obvious to the participants what matters has to be addressed and decisions made. It should also provide enough documentation to get members to arrange ahead of time.
